Jumping Back Kick - Martial Arts Kicking Technique This page provides details on how to perform a martial arts jumping back kick. This is a more advanced version of the traditional back kick. The jumping back kick is useful in sparring because it is often used as a counter kick to offset an opponent's attack. In Karate, a jumping back kick is known as Tobi Ushiro Geri. In Taekwondo, it is known as Eeadan Dwi Chagi. An even more advanced version of this kick is the Flying Back Kick.
