Lathi Khela - Southeast Asian Martial Arts Style Lathi Khela is a Bangladeshi and Indian stick-fighting martial arts. This martial arts style primarily utilizes the martial arts weapon known as the Lathi. This long bamboo weapon is often combined with a shield. Other weapons such as the sword and knife are occasionally used by Lathi Khela students. In Southeast Asia, the Lathi has also evolved into a crowd control tool used by the police. The martial arts version of the Lathi is typically longer than the police version. The martial arts version is more like a staff whereas the police version is more like a long baton.
