Standing Hip Adductor Stretch or Side Lunge Stretch This page provides details for the Standing Hip Adductor Stretch (or Side Lunge Stretch). This stretching exercise is used by martial arts students to stretch their hips, adductors, quadriceps, groin, etc. It is also used for improved flexibility, especially for higher roundhouse kicks, etc. This should not be confused with the strength training exercise known as a side lunge. All stretches & exercises should be supervised by a trained instructor in order to prevent injuries and to ensure the proper technique is utilized.
